The Neighborhood

Milwaukee's South Side is where you'll find the city's most authentic Mexican food, vibrant Latino culture, and a community that takes pride in its heritage. Cesar E. Chavez Drive and Mitchell Street are the main arteries, lined with taquerias, panaderias, quinceañera shops, and family-owned businesses serving generations of Milwaukee families. The Mexican Fiesta in August is one of the city's premier cultural celebrations.
