The Vibe

Riverwest is Milwaukee's most unapologetically itself neighborhood. Bordered by the Milwaukee River and home to a diverse mix of artists, students, longtime residents, and free spirits, it's the kind of place where community gardens thrive, murals cover the walls, and nobody's trying too hard to be cool. The annual Riverwest 24 bike race captures the spirit perfectly: grassroots, chaotic, inclusive, and deeply local. This isn't a neighborhood for tourists—it's a neighborhood for people.
